Meet Milo!
Milo is a sweet 6-month-old black and tan miniature dachshund with a big personality in a little body! This happy, healthy pup is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and will be neutered before heading to his forever home at the end of May. We will be accepting applications on 4/19 and 4/20 ONLY.
Milo is a total lovebug who adores cuddles and playing with his favorite plush toys. He’s been fostered in a home with older kids and has shown every sign that he’d do just fine around younger children too. His favorite activities include snuggling with other dogs, playing in the yard, leash walks, and napping in front of the fireplace.
This social little guy would thrive in a home with another dog companion—he loves having a buddy to play with and curl up next to. While he’s doing great with potty training, he’s still learning how to let you know when he needs to go out. He uses a dog door and does best when he has regular access to the yard (he goes on artificial turf and concrete).
Milo sleeps like a champ through the night in his crate and is learning the ropes of polite doggy behavior. He may bark at dogs and people through the fence or occasionally on walks, but he’s not aggressive—just a little vocal when curious.
Our adoptable dogs have been microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on all their vaccinations. They have received medical care and training if needed. We match our doxies with the best family/home for their personalities, temperaments, and needs and carefully screen applicants to make that possible. Click here to review our application process.
