Fostering a dog isn’t a lifetime commitment. It’s a commitment to saving a life!

Fosters are the bridge between rescue and adoption. They are an integral component of the welfare of our rescue dogs. They are able to provide inside information and observations about their foster pups that helps us make a successful match with a forever home.

All dachshunds are fully sponsored and there are no out of pocket costs. This includes medical care, prescriptions, food, toys and beds. Some fosters need extra help acclimating to a new environment and training reinforcement.

If you are interested, please fill out the combination volunteer & foster application below. All of our fosters are also bound by the volunteer agreement.
